We’re a diverse lot. We range from infants to great-grandmothers; we have a variety of religious backgrounds; a variety of ethnic backgrounds; a variety of educational qualifications; we have some deaf and some hearing; some tall and some short. But we do have this in common...
We’re living for Jesus, and we’re forgiven of our sins.
In other words, we are simply Christians, following Christ — a non-denominational assembly of Christ’s followers (Acts 11:26; Romans 16:16). We have no organisational ties to any other congregation. We know of about 80 similar groups around Australia, but hope there are many more.
In accordance with the scriptures, we get together to teach and encourage one another. Our biggest gathering is on the first day of the week (Sunday), which is at a hall that will fit us in while we break bread together, sing, pray and are encouraged by God’s word. We have an Auslan interpreter to translate to and from those of us who are deaf.
If you’d like to join us on a Sunday morning, come along at 11am. We welcome anyone who wants to participate in our celebration of God’s love for us in Christ Jesus. You won’t get a show. We just want to worship God in spirit and truth.
The place we usually meet on Sundays is:
Essex Park Community Place, 16 Essex Park Drive, Endeavour Hills.
